Nicola (Nikki) Spence is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who cares for adult patients at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. She received her Master of Science in nursing, family nurse practitioner from SUNY Polytechnic Institute of Utica in Utica, NY and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. Nikki is a member of the Society of Hospitalist Medicine.

One of the many reasons Nikki loves being a hospitalist nurse practitioner is having the opportunity to meet people from many diverse backgrounds. She believes meeting patients where they are and open communication are key to quality care.

Nikki is originally from Downstate but moved to the Capital Region area to attend graduate school. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, photography, and reading.
